Followers she built as an AI educator, on top of founding and running quantifAI.

Mariana Antaya did not wait for permission to start building. As a Fairfield University student double majoring in applied math and computer science, she pitched an idea at the school's StartUp Showcase in 2022 and turned it into quantifAI, a company rather than a class exercise.

She stacked real credibility behind it. Antaya, who graduated in 2023, worked as an AI product manager at Microsoft, then built a creator brand teaching AI, prompt engineering, and product management to more than 600,000 followers across platforms, the kind of technical audience that is hard to fake. Brands like NVIDIA and Anthropic took notice.

Now she is building the boring, essential layer. Through quantifAI she is developing trust infrastructure for AI and prediction markets, the unglamorous plumbing that decides whether these systems can actually be relied on, and she mentors other students through a community she runs on the side.

"She did not wait to be hired to build. She shipped the company from a campus stage."

A lot of people with Antaya's resume would have taken the safe big-tech track and stayed there. She used it as a foundation instead, building her own company and teaching thousands of others how the technology actually works. Credibility plus building, not credibility instead of it.

This is the near-future founder ANF keeps spotlighting. Turn the class project into a company, and build the audience and the credibility to back it. Antaya did both at once.

She pitched it on a campus stage. Now the biggest names in AI are paying attention.
